Monash Ball 2009

Here it is. The moment when all of us are waiting for. The main event of the month. The event that starts our mid break. The event that ends our week 9 (sigh!!). The event when all of us get dressed and have some fun. It is THE MONASH BALL 2009. It was held in Sunway Resort Ballroom on 25th September 2009, right before the mid break. Right after some assignments dued for some students.

This is what all of us been waiting for. We went to pyramid to get some proper attire that suit its theme which is Vogue which is the name of famous fashion magazine. So it is about fashion now. I had to borrow Edi's shirt for it as I can't find anything suit me. I pair it with my (newly bought) pant and a suit. There I am ready to go. :D

We had our feet stepped on the entrance of Sunway Resort after taking cabs (there were 3 cabs as Tiara people are joining us). As soon as I entered, I saw alot of people wearing suits and dresses. Wow, what a view. I never been into a prom or something like that. And then when the girls arrived, I was wowed by them. They were gorgeous, really gorgeous. I took some photos with each of them. Wee.... I have photos with gorgeous girls... LOL!!

The time was 8.30 PM, we went inside to have some bread. LOL! Seriously, we had to wait again until like around 8.40 PM. We had our appetizer with dance performance. Overall, the performances are okay okay. Not VERY great, but it was good. But I didn't watch the dance as I had to stand up alittle bit to get a complete view on them. Too bad. The one that I really enjoy is stand up comedy. At first, I thought it will be boring or maybe he will insult people. But hey, he was not bad. The jokes were nice. He got his own music and he did some dance which I think it's kinda creative. By the way, the next menu is soup. Wantan soup with chicken broth. The main course is some chicken with some kinda of cake. LOL! I can't remember. The desert was something something with ice cream. :D... Too bad the foods are kinda too exotic for me... They are way too little for my big tummy...hahaha

We took quite a lot of photos. And camera's battery was almost died. Damn. I think I didn't charge it fully. Hmm... I took Shinta's camera instead after that. Thanks alot Shin. There were alot photos in stairs. The stairs of memory for everyone. Haha....

Anyways, let the photos speak for themselves...:D :D :D

Some crazy idea of celebrating birthday

Those photos are snapped during my walk to Orange. From far away, the car looked like being "bullied" by Ah Long because its owner cannot pay loan. But the truth is, it was a birthday card. It has a very ugly and hairy girl with a real bra and panty on the front of the car. They also did not forget the back number plate. They stick a notice said that the owner is gay and put a number there. I wonder whose number it is. To be exact, here are the photos.

I know it is temptating to know what they wrote, but i don't feel like to expose it here...ahahha

The back number plate

So in conclusion, I don't really like the idea. But somehow, i think this is kinda unique and creative. LOL!

OK lah, got to sleep now. I will be posting about Monash Ball on the next post.

Catching Up Blog (Warning! Bunch of photos!)

Well, this is it. This post is typed during my business visit to Singapore. Some of them are typed during the bus trip and some of them are typed in the room...well... in the middle of the night. Hahahah... This post will contains all things regardings trips and birthdays that happenned during the last post until now. Let's start with Rifin's Kidnapping. :D

Rifin Bdae
It was on 6th September 2009. It was a sunny day (not like today's weather...raining days :( ). After finishing our Sunday Puja, me, MingHan, Erica, Chandra, Shinta, Jimz, Edi, Colin, Alex, Arie who have planned the surprise party, did our role. Some of us went to Medan as if they are going to have lunch. Some are going back with variety of reasons and the best of all is MingHan part which is to ask Rifin to have some quick meeting regarding Malacca trip. After that, we went to separate way according to plan. After I went back to take camera, me, Arie, Shinta, Erica, Chandra went to Sunway College foyer to kidnap Rifin.

This is some "cropped" conversation.
Alex: Rifin, we want to kidnap you now!
Rifin: eh?? what???

There goes Rifin's freedom, being kidnapped by his trusty friends. hahahhaha

Anyways, we blindfolded him, then we escort him to MingHan's car to transport him to pyramid. Too bad Rifin is too smart to be fooled. He knows he is in pyramid just by parking lot smell. Too bad...hahaha... but we did fooled him by taking him around pyramid blindfoldedly with every pair of eyes staring at us. LOL...wat an embarassing moment...We escort him to Tony Romas still blindfolded and he is trying to guess where he was. Too bad now he can't outsmart us as we took him around and i guess that confuse him as he can't really guess the restaurant. LOL. Anyways, obviously in the end we gave him freedom again. And he was kinda surprised that the finish point is at Tony Romas. To be honest, it is the 1st time of me eating there. And the foods are not bad. Just the price hinders me eating there...:)

See how helpless he was? LOL!

Monica's Bdae
7th day of 9th month of year 2009, 20 years ago, a girl was born and named Monica Halim. :D Another birthday that we have planned since 1 week before the execution. Too bad we did not bring Monica to the field as we planned. But we did made her surprised by appearing in front of her, take note that she was blindfolded..... Hmm... this kinda make me wonders, blindfolding kinda becomes trend uh??? LOL!! Anyways, let the photos speak for themselves.

Colin's Bdae
Well, this is another major surprise party because we did it in the uni. Yes, we did those banner and bring it to uni just to celebrate your birthday colin!! :D Btw, the date is 11th September 2009.

There are many things happen during the planning including some changes in the plan from sunway hospital and end up to uni and which bridge we should celebrate. Ya, we hanged the banner at the bridge connecting building 3 and building 9. Thanks to Edi and Farid that helped in brainstorming during the planning. We should do it again for other's bdae. It was fun. LOL... And alot of kudos to Edi, Ameq, Annita and Nat that helped us to make sure Colin went to main gate at the right time. Anyways, let the photos speak for themselves as visual speaks more than descriptive words.

Malacca Trip
One of the main event of the month. It took 2 days of my life, 12 and 13 September 2009. I love the trip. At the day we arrived, we had chicken rice ball as our lunch. Well, it is not that heavenly good but it is quite okay and it is quite a unique way to eat chicken rice. LOL!!

We stayed at temple dormitory which was so hot that everybody slept topless...well...not everybody though.... but the feeling of togetherness that makes me feel so comfortable. And the amazing race (which my group won, thanks to Carmen, Jeremy, Jason, Hendrik, and Jo) is new experience to me. The purpose of the game that I could take is cooperation, togetherness, being smart in doing things, trust and ask if we are clueless. At the start of the race, we discuss together where we should go 1st. After that, we went to ask some people that we think might know the place. And we found tourist centre at the start of the race. Well, because there is no rules that we are not supposed to ask the centre, we went there, ask couple questions and grabbed the map of the area. That map really helped alot as it has the key location numberred and marked. Other thing that I notice is the cendhol challenge. It was Carmen that ask whether it can be "tabao" a.k.a. take away. And we could! And I tell you, it really reduced the time taken to eat it inside the stall, we could enjoy the drink while walking searching for the other checkpoint. And I still can't hold myself not to tell that in my junior high school I learned Arab Melayu. I thought that would be useless in the future. Well, at least it helped in the race. There are some Arabian word at one of the 5 great heros tomb. It was Makam Hang Kesturi. It helped us confirm that it is the checkpoint. Oh ya the last but not the least, the last challenge. I was blindfolded and had Hendrik to guide my way. Well, although I don't know him much, but I told him this, "Hendrik, u guide me, and tell me all the stairs. I trust you." And we did it. He really guide me well and I really put my trust to him so that I didn't get distracted by other voices. :D At the night of the day, we went to Jonker street and have Sate Celup as our "early supper". LOL. THe sate celup was okay and I wish there are more things to be celupped... LOL!! The jonker street was also amusing. Too bad because of the time constraint, we got to go before looking at everything.

The next day, it was started with a cold shower that I, surprisingly, miss. Maybe because I had to take it everyday at hometown. It felt like I am back to my home sweet home. And after that, we went around the kampung and then we went to sunday school in front of the temple. This is the 1st time for me being in sunday school and it had different way of puja session. Anyways, after that, we had sharing session and then went lunch. We had yong to fu as lunch. It was quite okay but not really good. :D... The trip was ended by everyone sleeping in the bus on the way back :D

Can't speak, hear, and see....

Behold! Malacca Sushi.. :D

CF's Bdae
Wow, 1 month before mine. We planned this quite fast compared with colin's and rifin's. Maybe it was caused by it was on weekday and we had to go to Tiara to celebrate it. But overall, it was quite success. Too bad Chandra is too smart to be outsmart by us. LOL!! He notices there are something different and he noticed that we were hiding in the kitchen. Despite of that, we had a great dinner at Tian Tian Lai. Hmm.... from this event, I can guess that the ideas of celebrating people's bdae are alot. From being crazy to being normal or even celebrate it later than the birthday date. Hmm... I wonder what will be for mine......

Kiara Trip
Okay... this trip was kinda funny. It was originally planned as jogging trip but ended up as photo session trip. We got crazy and we snapped a hell lot of pictures. Me myself, snapped almost 250 photos in that almost 3 hours trip. I heards shinta's photo is 1.5 gb. OMG!! Wat a narcism. Hahahaha.... Anyway, we went there by using cars. 1 by MingHan and the other by Lung. Lung drove his friend's car. The day was rainy so we didn't really run well, at least for me, shinta and colin. Annita, MingHan, Jimz, Edi, CF and Lung ran and get wet....especially Jimz which was super wet..LOL!!

We snapped quite alot of crazy photos. Dancing in the rain, checked. Being some weirdos, checked. Some cool effect photo, checked. Controversional photos, checked!!! LOL!!! I wish I had one controversional photo. Next trip, if i have chance, I will get one. Anyways, it was really fun and kinda released me from the stress.

Singapore Trip
20 September 2009
And now, here I am. Typing previos blogs since being in the bus until now waiting for my parent and sister while drinking starbucks. (13 freaking bucks....OMG) LOL! Too bad there is no free WiFi like the usual Starbucks. I have to register and have Singapore local number which I don't. Doh! To be note that, me being in Singapore does not mean that I don't have to my project. I just finished some part of my project while I was in the bus. Yes, I had to rush it even I am in the bus. I am afraid I don't have time to do it because I have to accompany my parent later. And you know what? I really miss them!!! And I will meet them shortly.... OMG!!! Can't wait any longer...:D....btw... suddenly I miss my friend..... LOL!!! Not even 24 hours I said take care to Farid and sms-ed some of my friends.
--------AFTER 25 MINS-------------

Damn! There are sure alot of people in the imigration. They are still stuck there..... Guess Mayb those people from the SuperStar Virgo??? I saw one docking when I arrived. :)

At last meet up with them. They don't change much. And as usual, my dad will ask me to go have something to eat. LOL!!

21 Sept 2009
I am online in some kopi tiam in Chinatown. I wish next time around, it's me and friends that are sitting here chit chatting...:D :D :D

10.00PM After almost finishing my 1st day in Spore, I just realized that I aldy eat too much...LOL!!!! Anyways, I went to inet cafe today. It was quite pack as today is public holiday. But the one that made me disappointed is the way the kids there talk and act. There were so many Kitkat pack at my comp made my hand smells chocolate. They are also very foul mouth while playing game. They swear when they start, they swear when they shot their enemies, and they swear when they died....... OMG...How come kids that are not even bigger than my sis, swear so much only in gaming? How about when they are already big and going to work in society??? Even me, felt so disturbed by the way they talked and how the internet cafe owner didn't warn them. Yes, the owner just let them swear the way they like. Wat an uneducated old man. Sigh....

22 SEPT 2009
2.06 AM

Well...here I am again! Doing project with only laptop light and hungry stomach. Damn! My eyes are quite in pain now and my body is kinda shivering considering how cold the room is thanks to the air cond and ceiling fan. Hmm... I think I want to turn the fan off. It's too cold man!! LOL!! Anyhow, I just realized that I still need to rush my IFM assignment that due on Friday!! Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (screaming in silent) ARRRRRGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!

23 SEPT 2009
18.25 PM
Here I come Malaysia!!! Well, kinda abit late saying that as I am in Malaysia now with a very shaky bus. Well... ya, the bus is shaking like hell and I don't know what happen to it. Hmm.... I wonder... Anyway, met up with Yessy. Yay! Got somebody to share the taxi fare. She is also staying at block B 17th floor. Wow, how lucky I am.

:D :D :D

So, from my trip to Singapore now, there are couple things that I noticed,
1. Singapore is a contruction city (LOL!!) beside fine city. Ya, everytime I went there, I keep seeing construction sites. And there are quite alot now considering F1 being held there and a very big casino is to be open there ( can't really remember the name either its location). However, it does not really bother me (well.... exclude the dust generated from the machine), but one thing that bother me is, the construction note. Ya, 1st thing I notice is that note. Well what else the construction site note could say beside apologizing? Well, in my hometown, they just apologize, but in singapore and malaysia there is more things there such as, "we build for a better service for you". Somehow, I feel it's better to say that compare than just apologizing. Well, that is my opinion. :D

2. This is in Chinatown. One thing that I notice is, there are less game stores and there are more adult shop. Ya. ADULT SHOP in Chinatown. I spotted 3 of them in Chinatown. That......is kinda surprising. Because for your information, Chinatown is kinda like a cultural and old face of Singapore. There are ALOT of elder and old building. There is even a place that is made specially for eldery for playing chinese chess. Back to the topic. It's kinda surprising to see those kind of shop in Chinatown. Anyhow, maybe they spotted that people there are abit desperate??? LOL.. no offence but it is kinda irony if u ask me.

3. Another thing is there are more and more stall that provide mole removal, tatoo and such. I had some of them removed this morning, thanks to my mom that said those are unlucky moles according to feng shui. Hmm....let's see then...:D

19.01 PM
Just finished my dinner. 2 times Aeroline, 2 times chicken rice. SWT!!! The 1st trip is from Chicken Rice Shop, this one is from Al-Meen Shop (something like that). The 2nd one is kinda unique. The rice is almond or some nut rice. But it tastes nice. :D Wow, what a red sky. I love the situation here. Looking at the sky getting darker, listening to light music, typing something, and in a moving car. LOL!!! Maybe it will be nicer if I have a cup of coffee. Too bad the crew don't ask about it . Wao, she just asked and I asked for a cup of coffee. Weee!!! What a perfect evening. :D *playing Haven't Met You Yet by Michael Buble* Damn I really think I should escape again some time in the future to get some peaceful feeling like this. *Here come my coffee + a slice of cake!!! weee!!!* One thing that made this a little bit uncomfortable is the bus is kinda shaky....

20.00 PM
Done with my coffee....watching Evan Almighty. The movie is nice...Love the quote from the movie. "Let me ask you something. If someone prays for patience, you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage, or does he give him opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for the family to be closer, do you think God zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings, or does he give them opportunities to love each other?" Love the quote very much!! Hahaha

Some photos from the trip~~~
